New Haven (WTNH) – Finally, a beautiful day for Arts and Ideas.

News Channel 8′s Desiree Fontaine and Sara Welch took part tonight as ‘mistresses of ceremony,’ introducing Senator Marty Lunde and Senator Tony Hart.  The senators gave a speech to open Festival Grand Finale: Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars and Bio Ritmo this evening.

The ladies also took the opportunity to introduce Bio Ritmo, the opening act.

Good times back stage with organizers and various band members.

Get out and enjoy the festival while the weather is great!
