Shooter Jennings tweeted to his fans that he finally popped the question Thursday evening Utica, NY during a concert. ”Asked drea to marry me on stage tonight. ”I’m a lucky man. I’ll never forget Utica, Ny. Hands off m———— she said yes but she’s mad.”
Jennings is a Nashville-born musician and son of the late country legend Waylon Jennings. The couple has been dating for eight years and welcomed a baby girl, Alabama Gypsy Rose in Nov 07.
“I never thought I’d get along with a New Yorker,” Jennings told PEOPLE in 2005. “But in her heart, she’s a redneck too.” Besides, he claims that de Matteo “has the best taste in music.”
De Matteo is probably most famous for her role as Adriana La Cerva on The Sopranos before starring opposite Matt LeBlanc as Gina Tribbiani on NBC’s Friends spin-off Joey.
